NO MORE TEEN FUN (20!!!!)

20 was the strangest birthday of them all, feels like #19 at byu was an entirely different world, which i suppose it was. the only thing out of the ordinary was that we got a 20 minute break for me to buy myself a blizzard at dairy queen. but of course God gave me a million little things throughout the day. like hermana kellie bronson got to call me from vancouver and i seriously died when i heard her voice HI HERMANA I MISS YOU and also, please prepare yourselves, because punjabi homie?? that i told you about briefly before who showed up to church literally knowing nothing? THE TURBAN IS COMING OFF AND HE IS BEING BAPTIZED. his name is hardeb gil. i think. i genuinely don't know. the elders that we passed him off too called to tell us the good news and they were like "we literally don't know how you got him to listen to you and show up to church he speaks zero english and we had to bring a translator" and i was like HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME IT WAS THE SPIRIT.

more good things: 

first of all, family, will you write out some answers to teh questions at the top of preach my gospel page 152? and send them to me? president asked us to ask you to do so! thank you i love you mucho.

second of all, US open? election? is america still standing? seriously everyday this week when people found out i was american they started asking me 900 things about trump and i was like "believe me you know more than i do at this point also i'm not allowed to talk about politics" and i think it is a specific trial for me from God hahhaah. not kidding. missions are black holes when it comes to news.

espanol: is coming! more and more! i made a  joke in ward council yesterday and everyone got it and this is how i'm measuring my progress. 

french: got to use it (briefly) almost everyday this week <3 and everytime people are like "where are you from????? that's not quebecois (canadian) french?? are you from france??" and i just love my life.

okay also please appreciate these photos. particularly the one of me literally glowing because gospel. and LOOK HOW CUTE ALL OUT BOOK OF MORMONS ARE! i didn't even grab all of them. but we've got arabic, swahili, chinese, korean, russian, green, tgalick, hindi, spanish, french. ah. gospel going to all the nations and tongues of the world. except they're actually all in british columbia. how cool. i learned how to introduce ourselves and that we're from the church of jesus christ of latter day saints in mandarin this week. 

more tender mercies include multiple cars playing jcole pulling up next to us on my bday (don't stress friends we are strictly obedient, but it still made my heart happy), finding the mormon tabernacle choir version of the star spangled banner to blast as i am driving about the streets of surrey, and ZONE CONFERENCE was the greatest in all of ever. i can't even tell you how much i learned. 

okay i'm off to go change some lives, but thank you thank you again for reaching out. thank you for including me in your prayers, i really and truly can feel it. thank you for all of you who went out on missions, who are in the field, and who are just waiting to enter the field. this is a privilege.

ps FOUND CANDANCE BRIMHALL seriously felt like i was back at lone peak hahah the happiest thing. second of all cute mom sent me the print of brae and jack and ster, all RM's now, back in my kitchen in utah and i died cause i have the picture of us at the temple the day before sterling left for the philippines and i can't even process everything that has happened since then.
