Victoria Day - God Save the Queen.
Okay so here's the thing, I could try and document all the madness that happened this week in the absolute best way, the miracles and the wonders and also the shambles and the happiest things that came our way, but I have very limited minutes here at my computer and my fingers only go so fast :(( So we will do this on a need to know basis, starting with the fact that this was quite possibly my favorite weekend of my mission! <3 <3 TRUE STORY NOT EXAGGERATING.
Church consisted of 8 members, 1 recent convert, 2 less-actives, 5 missionaries, and 5 my and Sis. Pitt's investigators. It was the HAPPIEST sweetest thing. One of them was Sabra, who is the most golden human I have ever come across, who we taught for the first time on Saturday and now has a baptismal date for June :)) She shared an experience about taking the Sacrament for the first time and looking out the window and seeing a triple rainbow and therefore knowing that everything we teach is real. Hahaha Victoria. Of course God would answer people through rainbows here.
Also Sister PItts and I spent ALL of yesterday experimenting with the bus system here. We've ditched our car (to the extent possible), partially because of our Tiwi monitor harassing us and partially because then we can literally always be teaching somebody :) Lo and behold we are soooooo not as smart as we thought we were and we accidentally took the bus all the way to the ferry parking lot. 30 minutes past where we wanted to. SHAMBLES. But all is well my friends, because we totally taught two Buddhist monks from Sri Lanka the entire Restoration and left them watching Pres. Monson's "Choices" talk on their phone as we got off the bus. YEAH GO TEAM.
I also had the most tender lesson of my entire mission with Dani, who is without a doubt the reason I came on a mission. I just didn't have a clue that she was until I got to Victoria. And as much as I want each of you to understand the emotions and the experiences that we shared, it feels like, as Elder Holland said, one of those "moments for which expression would seem desecration." <3 Ah, please pray for her.
And also KAI who is getting baptized this Saturdayyyyyy :))) More of her story to come next week friends. Hang tight.
Okay I love love love you all. I love my mission, and the fact that I at long last have a tanline from my watch. I never want to leave this place, and I will spend the rest of my life being grateful that Heavenly Father trusted me to serve as a representative of Him, His Son, and Their Gospel. Thank heavens it's so real.
Con todo mi amor!

2. Live shot of Sister Curtis glued to her flip phone, as per usual. Didn't have a clue those would be so essential to the work of salvation. Also, all the telephone poles here are painted differently... cause..... VICTORIA!!!!!
